Conditions governing use of TAIC’s public website and educational content

By using this website, visitors agree to use it lawfully and understand the limits of TAIC’s educational information, external links, submissions, and organizational authority.

1. Organization and purpose

This website is operated by Trucker Awareness Initiative Company, a Texas nonprofit corporation and IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity. The site supports highway-safety education, public awareness, program information, stakeholder engagement, and charitable support.

2. Educational information

Website content is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It does not replace statutes, regulations, official agency guidance, legal advice, medical advice, emergency instructions, employer policy, vehicle manuals, professional training, or case-specific advice.

3. No emergency or enforcement service

TAIC is not a law-enforcement, emergency-response, regulatory, licensing, inspection, medical, legal, or CDL-training agency. Contact 911 or the appropriate authority when immediate assistance is required.

4. Accuracy and updates

TAIC seeks to use credible sources and reasonable review procedures. Laws, regulations, statistics, medical information, and official guidance can change. Visitors are responsible for verifying current requirements through the responsible authority.

5. Intellectual property and permitted use

Unless otherwise stated, TAIC owns or lawfully uses the website’s original text, design, branding, and educational materials. Visitors may link to public pages and share brief attributed excerpts for lawful, noncommercial educational discussion. Republishing, modifying, selling, branding, training artificial-intelligence systems on, or distributing substantial TAIC content requires written permission unless law provides otherwise.

6. Prohibited use

Visitors may not use the website to violate law; impersonate TAIC; make unauthorized commitments; misrepresent a partnership or endorsement; interfere with security; introduce malicious code; harvest data; submit unlawful, defamatory, threatening, infringing, deceptive, or privacy-violating material; or misuse TAIC’s name, logo, or content.

7. Submissions and communications

An email, suggestion, application, draft, image, file, inquiry, or other submission does not create a confidential, employment, volunteer, partnership, sponsorship, agency, fiduciary, or contractual relationship. TAIC may decline, delete, retain, refer, or respond to a submission consistent with law, privacy commitments, records needs, and organizational policy.

8. External links

Links to government agencies, nonprofits, donation platforms, or other websites are provided for convenience and education. A link does not establish endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, approval, or responsibility for the external site’s content, availability, privacy, security, or transactions.

9. Donations

Donations are processed through the clearly identified secure platform. Contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. A donation does not purchase editorial control, endorsement, partnership, sponsorship, vendor status, or permission to use TAIC’s name or logo. Restricted or in-kind proposals require prior review and written acceptance.

10. Accessibility

TAIC works to improve access to its website and materials. Visitors who encounter a barrier may use the Accessibility page or contact TAIC for reasonable assistance or an alternative format when feasible.

11. Disclaimer and limitation

The website is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. TAIC does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that every external source remains available. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Changes and governing framework

TAIC may update these terms and website content. The current date appears below. These terms are interpreted under applicable United States and Texas law, without creating jurisdiction where it would not otherwise exist.
