Public Safety Partnerships
Build a Defined Relationship Around Public Benefit
TAIC may consider discussions with employers, fleets, insurers, schools, civic groups, public
agencies, safety organizations, researchers, service providers, and responsible sponsors whose
proposed involvement supports the charitable mission.
A conversation, external link, donation, sponsorship, event appearance, or exchange of information
does not by itself create a formal partnership. Formal relationships should be documented in writing
and should state the purpose, scope, responsibilities, financial terms, use of names and logos,
review rights, termination process, and public-description limits.
